2023 Farm Lease Opportunities

All forms related to Lease, License and Concession public bidding opportunities on this webpage are available for your immediate printing. The Public Land Administration Section will no longer mail out paper copies upon request.
The State of New Jersey, Department of Environmental Protection, will be conducting one public auction for Farm Lease Agreements on properties managed by the State Park Service or Fish and Wildlife. The auction is open to all interested farmers. Bidder registration information and information on the individual properties are listed below:

All successful bidders will be required to complete the Tax Clearance Certificate process within two (2) weeks of award. Instructions for this can be found at the below link:
Please be aware of all deadlines identified in the Auction Rules for the cut-off dates to submit questions and submission of Bidder Registration and Authorization to Bid Forms to the Public Land Administration Section.

*The State Park Service and the Division of Fish and Wildlife have different leasing requirements and special attention should be made to the lease location. The “Draft State Parks Service Farm Lease Agreement” will apply to any parcels within a State Park and the “Draft Fish and Wildlife Farm Lease Agreement” will apply to any parcels within a Wildlife Management Area (WMA).

**LE24-007 has an alternative bid option that will only be offered if there is no successful bidder to the primary offering. The Alternative Bid options splits LE24-007 into three lease options: Lease LE24-007A – Field A&B; Lease LE24-007B – Field C,D,E&F; and Lease LE24-007C – Field G. In addition, up to a $8,304 one-time credit will be applied towards the rent to the successful bidder for work needed to reclaim the fields. Please refer to the map for specific details on how the credit would be applied to the alternative bid options if there was no successful bidder to the primary offering.
***LE24-009 – a $5,069 one-time credit will be applied towards the rent to the successful bidder for work needed to reclaim the fields.
****LE24-011 has an alternative bid option that will only be offered if there is no successful bidder to the primary offering.
