Quarterly Brownfield Roundtables

The Quarterly Brownfield Roundtables are a forum designed to promote information sharing among both public and private entities involved with the remediation and reuse of brownfields in New Jersey. These roundtables are held in the NJDEP’s Public Hearing Room, located at 401 East State Street in Trenton. No pre-registration is required.

The morning session is held from 10:00 am to noon and consists of workshops for municipal, county, state, federal and non-profit communities only. Consultants or other private entities are only admitted at the request of one of these public communities. DEP uses this forum to learn what is working and what challenges public entities face during their redevelopment projects.

The afternoon session is held from 1:00 to 4:00 pm and is open to all parties interested in brownfield redevelopment. A regular feature of the afternoon session is a regulatory and legislative update from representatives of the USEPA and the NJDEP Office of Brownfield & Community Revitalization (OBCR). The afternoon session also includes presentations on various topics relevant to brownfield remediation and reuse.
