
The Science Advisory Board, at the Commissioner’s request, provides independent peer review and advice on scientific and technical issues relevant to the DEP’s mission. The Board will deliver its findings and recommendations to the Commissioner through the DEP’s Division of Science and Research, which also serves as a liaison to the Commissioner, DEP staff, and the public.
