Youth Inclusion Initiative

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection was pleased to announce the YII 2025 grant to seek applicants for the award-winning youth program to support building a diverse and inclusive green workforce. This past summer marked the fifth year that the NJDEP offered this program, which continued to impact many youths across the state. The program provided a paid summer experience where participants could learn hands-on skills in the environmental field.

Respondents are invited to submit applications through the SAGE system using the link above. Applications closed for the summer of 2025 on February 20, 2025. 

Application Workshop: The workshop took place on January 30 from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. virtually via Microsoft Teams.
