Purpose of Funding
Provide grants for stormwater and nonpoint source pollution management activities that would directly enhance, improve, and protect water quality throughout New Jersey.

Who is Eligible
State, regional, and local government units within New Jersey, designated water quality management planning agencies, state universities and colleges, and interstate agencies of which New Jersey is a member are eligible to apply for the RFP. Additionally, Section 501(c)(3) watershed and water resource associations, as well as other local nonprofit organizations authorized to operate within the State of New Jersey, can also apply for the RFP.
Qualifications Required for Consideration
Applicants must submit a project that meets the administrative requirements, objectives, and project criteria as outlined in the Request for Proposal.
Grant/Loan limitations
The amount varies by need and availability of funding.
Application Procedures
Eligible applicants must submit their proposals electronically using NJDEP’s System for Administering Grants Electronically (NJDEP SAGE) and must follow the registration instructions on NJDEP SAGE’s login page.
