Liberty State Park Revitalization Program
About the Revitalization Program
The Liberty State Park Revitalization Program will bring more than one hundred acres of active recreational, arts and cultural improvements to Liberty State Park’s perimeter and create a central park at its heart with world-class natural landscapes that build resilience to flooding and climate change while providing passive recreation and educational opportunities for the public.

Active Recreation
Athletics fields and courts are coming to Liberty State Park!
Introducing the Liberty State Park Athletics Hub – a centralized location in the park’s interior that is planned to feature sports courts, diverse activities and multiple athletic fields capable of hosting regulation games to the high school level.
The Athletics Hub will not be the only place for active recreation at Liberty State Park. The Marina Green, located between Audrey Zapp Drive and the Liberty Landing Marina, will feature flexible athletics fields designed to support competitive sports and informal play.
