Revised General Permit GP-005B

The Division of Air Quality is announcing the opportunity for public comment on a proposed revised general permit entitled: “GP-005B for Emergency Generator(s) burning Gaseous Fuels at minor air facilities.

Consistent with the latest State and Federal regulations, the revised GP-005B incorporates the revised definition of emergency generators at N.J.A.C. 7:27-8.2 and 19.1 regarding construction, repair and maintenance (CRM) activities.

The Notice of Opportunity for Public Comment is scheduled to be published in the July 1, 2019 issue of the New Jersey Register.

There is a 30 day public comment period. The proposed revised General Permit is available for review at the Department’s website: http://www.nj.gov/dep/aqpp
