General Operating Permit GOP-002A
The Division of Air Quality is announcing a new General Operating Permit (GOP-002A) for “Manufacturing and Materials Handling Equipment”.
The new general operating permit encourages
1) the use of control devices by expanding the applicability to include potential-to-emit after control instead of only before control,
2) allows for multiple emission points and
3) applies potential-to-emit per piece of equipment instead of across all equipment.
This general operating permit is replacing the existing general operating permit GOP-002 Small Emitter General Air Permit (SEGAP). To view the requirements of any general operating permit, go to www.nj.gov/dep/aqpp/gop.html.
