State Implementation Plan (SIP) Revision for the Attainment and Maintenance of the 1971 Primary and Secondary Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS), Redesignation Request and Limited Maintenance Plan for the Warren County Sulfur Dioxide Nonattainment Area

Date Posted: 5/18/21

Last Update: 11/16/21

This SIP revision includes a limited maintenance plan requesting the USEPA to redesignate the Warren County nonattainment area to attainment in accordance with the Clean Air Act. This SIP revision meets the requirements for a limited maintenance plan which are: Attainment Inventory, Maintenance Demonstration, Monitoring Network, Verification of Continued Attainment, and Contingency Plan. This document acknowledges the improvement in outdoor sulfur dioxide air quality by demonstrating that SO2 levels are currently well below 85 percent of the SO2 National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS).
