The New Jersey Sustainable Business Registry was established through a collaboration between the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, Rutgers University and business and nonprofit partners.

Original funding for the Registry and related technical assistance programs were made possible by a grant from the US Environmental Protection Agency.
