This training is intended for individuals who review major development projects for compliance with the requirements of the Stormwater Management rules. The training will cover the requirements in the Stormwater Management rules, calculation methodologies, and how to review a major development. Attending this training will support compliance with the design review conditions of Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) permits (see Municipal Stormwater Regulation).

Stormwater Management Rule Amendment Training

In accordance with Part IV.F.9 of the Tier A Municipal Stormwater General Permit and Part IV.F.8 of the Public Complex MS4 Permit, whenever the Stormwater Management rules at N.J.A.C. 7:8 (the “Rules”) are amended and the Department determines that training is warranted, the permittee shall ensure that all individuals that have completed the Stormwater Management Design Review (SWMDR) course complete a mandatory Department provided training (referred to as a “Stormwater Management Rule Amendment Training”) no later than one year after the adoption of the amendment. The Department amended the Rules on July 17, 2023, and subsequently issued the training notification. This Rule Amendment Training was required to be completed by July 17, 2024. The individuals named in this list satisfied the requirement to complete a Department provided Stormwater Management Rule Amendment Training. If an individual completed the Stormwater Management Rule Amendment Training multiple times, only the first attendance date is listed.
