  • Adopt comprehensive redevelopment plan specifically for contaminated sites, or demonstrate commitment the site will be redeveloped within 3 years after remediation is complete.
  • Recreation/Conservation Grants-property must be preserved for recreation and conservation purposes through development easement or conservation easement or other restriction/easement permanently restricting development. The HDSRF can provide a template for the draft easement.
  • Affordable Housing Grants-project must be in accordance with the NJ Fair Housing Act N.J.S.A. 52:27D-301 et seq.

  • Lien (for RA funds spent) placed on property if municipality, county, or redevelopment entity that spent funds doesn’t acquire the property.

  • “Project costs” means that portion of the total costs of a remediation to implement an unrestricted use remedial action
