Sustainable Business Registry – businesses
The Sustainable Business Registry was created to recognize and promote sustainable businesses across the state. Presentations can be given about the Registry, benefits of membership, and how to join.

Waste reduction and recycling – businesses, residents, and students
Staff can provide information on a wide range of waste reduction and recycling topics, including tips for businesses to reduce waste, recycling markets, recycling contamination, and how to increase recycling in NJ.

Sustainability tips – businesses and residents
Staff can provide information on a wide range of sustainability topics, including climate change, clean energy, green purchasing, community sustainability, and greening your life.

Food waste reduction in schools – school administrators and teachers
Staff can provide information about starting a food waste reduction program in schools and an overview of the Food Waste Reduction in Schools Guidelines.

Green offices – businesses
Staff can provide information on making your office/business more sustainable through forming an office green team, increasing recycling, and other means.

Pollution Prevention – Facility EHS managers and consultants
“Complying with the Pollution Prevention Act”, a presentation to give background on the Pollution Prevention (P2) Act and its regulations. Attendees are guided through the 12 steps of Pollution Prevention Planning. The covered material provides a background on the federal Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) and explains how to submit NJ’s annual Release and Pollution Prevention Report.

Small Business Assistance Program (SBAP) – businesses and business community
o The Small Business Assistance Program (SBAP) helps New Jersey’s small businesses understand the complex world of environmental regulation. Presentations are available on the services we provide including, consultations, referrals, guidance documents, education & outreach and fostering innovation.

Dry Cleaning - Surviving an Inspection – businesses
Requirements for dry cleaners for air permits and MACT Standards, Hazardous Waste, Water discharges and Community Right to Know.

Dry Cleaning – Dealing with Contamination – businesses
An overview on how to prevent contamination, and what to do if you have contamination.

Metal Finishing (6W) and Permitting Requirements – businesses
The NESHAP requirements, regulations apply to plating and polishing facilities that use sources of hazardous pollutants (HAP) and tanks/processes that contain or use any compounds of cadmium (Cd), chromium (Cr), manganese (Mn), nickel (Ni) or lead (Pb) processes and must meet record keeping, and best management practices.

Refrigeration GHG Rule, Registration and Reporting – Facilities use >=50 lbs. of Refrigerant – businesses
Facilities with a refrigeration system and/or chillers with 50 pounds or more of a high-GWP refrigerant are required to register their facility, keep records of their refrigerant usage, and report that information to the Department.

Auto Body (6H) and VOC Compliance – Auto repair/Collision Shops – businesses
National Emission Standard for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP): Paint Stripping and Miscellaneous Surface Coating Operations at Area Sources.

Fueling Stations (How to Survive an Inspection) - businesses
Discusses air regulations, underground storage tanks and Community Right to Know.
