DriveGreen

DriveGreen’s education and outreach events expose a new audience to electric vehicles and help show how easy it is to incorporate clean transportation into your life. We work with EV advocates and other organizations to bring these events to life.

Resilience 

Climate change is the single greatest long-term threat currently facing humanity, and our state and economy are uniquely vulnerable to its devastating effects. Learn about the long-term mitigation, adaptation and resilience of New Jersey’s economy, communities, infrastructure and natural resources.

Sustainability 

Programs teach about how to live more sustainably. Topics include recycling, food waste, and pollution prevention.

Radon

DEP’s Radon Section conducts outreach activities to educate the public on the risks of radon and how homes can be fixed. Staff work with municipal governments to promote public awareness.

Watershed Ambassadors 

Programs provide information about water topics such as picking up after pets, conserving water, installing rain gardens, or volunteering for a stream cleanup.

Know the Bear Facts

“Know the Bear Facts” covers the natural history and biology of the Garden State’s largest land mammal, bear research and management, and practical information on coexisting with black bears, including safety tips.
