PUBLIC NOTICE
Take notice that the Department of Environmental Protection (Department) is extending the comment period on the proposal of new rules at N.J.A.C. 7:26F, Heating Oil Tank System Remediation Rules; and amendments, repeals, and new rules at N.J.A.C. 7:1E, Discharges of Petroleum and Other Hazardous Substances, N.J.A.C. 7:14A, New Jersey Pollutant Discharge Elimination System rules, N.J.A.C. 7:14B, Underground Storage Tanks rules, N.J.A.C. 7:26B, the Industrial Site Recovery Act rules, N.J.A.C. 7:26C, Administrative Requirements for the Remediation of Contaminated Sites, N.J.A.C. 7:26E, Technical Requirements for Site Remediation.
The proposal was published in the New Jersey Register on July 17, 2017. See 49 N.J.R. 2055(a). The proposal indicates that written comments may be submitted by September 15, 2017. The Department is extending the public comment period for an additional 14 days, until September 29, 2017.
