Notice of Opportunity
for Public Comment on Certain Topics Related to the Ground
Water Quality Standards

Take notice that the Department of Environmental Protection
(Department) is extending the comment period for the proposal
to readopt and recodify the Ground Water Quality Standards
with amendments, which was published in the New Jersey Register
on October 4, 2004. See 36 N.J.R. 4374(b). The Department is
also extending the comment period on the Notice of Opportunity
for Public Comment on Certain Topics Related to the Ground
Water Quality Standards that appeared in the same issue of
the Register. See 36 N.J.R. 4400(a).

The Department is extending the public comment period on
the proposal and on the notice of opportunity for public comment
to January 3, 2005.

Comments regarding the proposal to readopt and recodify the
Ground Water Quality Standards with amendments may be submitted
by January 3, 2005, to:
