Dam Safety Standards, N.J.A.C. 7:20

Public Notice
Take notice that the NJ Department of Environmental Protection is proposing amendments to the Dam Safety Standards. A statement of the substance of the proposal follows:

P.L.2005, c.228 amended the Safe Dam Act, N.J.S.A. 58:4-1 et seq. to provide additional enforcement remedies for the Department to pursue and enforce Dam Safety Standards. This amendment to the Dam Safety Standards is necessary to establish the penalties and procedures for implementing the provisions of the amended law.

The proposal is scheduled to be published in the New Jersey Register dated November 19, 2007.
