State Trails System, N.J.A.C. 7:5D

Public Notice
Take notice that the NJ Department of Environmental Protection is proposing to readopt the State Trails System rules at N.J.A.C. 7:5D without amendments.  These rules provide standards, procedures and practices for designating and maintaining trails as part of the State Trails System, in order to provide for the ever-increasing outdoor recreation needs of an expanding population and to provide access to, travel within, and enjoyment and appreciation of the outdoors and natural areas of the State.

The proposal is scheduled to be published in the New Jersey Register dated October 18, 2010.  A copy of the proposal (PDF) is available from the DEP web site or by contacting Larry S.
