Public Notice
Take notice that the NJ Department of Environmental Protection
(NJDEP) is proposing a readoption with amendments of the Real
Property Taxation rules, N.J.A.C. 7:35.

A statement of the substance of the proposal follows:

The existing
rules were adopted in 1975.  The new rules
will update and clarify the eligibility requirements, application
procedures for initial certification and for recertification,
and the basis on which nonprofit organizations may obtain
tax exemption certification from the NJDEP.

The proposal is
scheduled to be published in the New Jersey Register dated
August 6, 2007.      A copy of the proposal(PDF) is available from the NJDEP web site OR
