Public Notice
Take notice that the NJ Department of Environmental Protection
is proposing to readopt with amendments the Payment Schedule
for Permit Application Fees at N.J.A.C. 7:1L. This chapter institutes
a system for the payment of permit fees (if over $1,000) in
installments. The due date of each 1/3 installment is based
upon the Department’s completion of its duties and responsibilities
at specific stages of the application review process. The chapter
applies to any permit, registration or license issued by the
Department, establishing the regulatory and management requirements
for an ongoing regulated activity under any Federal law or certain
State laws.

The proposal is scheduled to be published in the New Jersey
Register dated June 6, 2005. A
copy of the proposal is available from the DEP website,
official repository libraries, West Publishing at 1-800-808-WEST.
Be advised that there may be a fee for obtaining a copy of the
proposal from some sources.
