Proposal of Amendments
Solid Waste Rules, N.J.A.C. 7:26; Regulated Medical Waste (RMW), Generator Recordkeeping

PUBLIC NOTICE
Take notice that the NJ Department of Environmental Protection is proposing to amend the Generator recordkeeping requirements of the Solid Waste Rules at N.J.A.C. 7:26-3A.21 to relieve certain funeral homes of the obligation to report annual quantities of generated regulated medical waste, specifically embalming effluent disposed of into a publicly owned treatment works. The proposal is in response to a petition of the New Jersey State Funeral Directors Association.
