File a Pesticide Complaint
The Bureau of Pesticide Control encourages both citizens and industry members to be aware and cooperative regarding pesticide-related incidents. If you observe a potential pesticide violation, please call the DEP 24-Hour Hotline. Reporting any possible violations helps us determine whether a violation has occurred, take corrective or preventive actions, and ultimately contributes to our efforts to protect public health and the environment.
You may choose to report the issue anonymously. However, providing your name and phone number can be helpful in case we need to follow up with questions or request additional information. The following details are important for reporting an incident or concern. The more information you provide, the better equipped we will be to conduct a successful investigation.
- Name and address of alleged violator or responsible party, if known
- Date of incident
- Time of incident
- Address or site of incident
- Nature of the problem
- Name of pesticides involved, if known
- Application method: hand-held or backpack sprayer, high-pressure hose, boom sprayer, etc.
- If any harm or injury, describe the injury or environmental effect
In the event of a Pesticide Poisoning, see our Resource List page for contacts and information.
