Proposed Action:
The County of Monmouth will hold a public hearing on a request for an Amendment to its Recreation and Open Space Inventory (“ROSI”) to decrease the total square foot area/acreage by removing 3,719+/- square feet (0.085+/- acres) from a 88,551.461+/- square foot (2.033+/- acre) parcel located in the Borough of Tinton Falls, Monmouth County, New Jersey. The property is identified as Block 60.01, Lot 3.01 on the Borough of Tinton Falls Tax Map and is located adjacent to the Swimming River and Monmouth County Bridge S-14 to the north, and County Route 50 (Swimming River Road) (“CR 50”) to the west, at the northerly boundary of Tinton Falls that adjoins the southerly boundary of the Township of Middletown and the northeasterly boundary of Colts Neck. This request for a ROSI amendment is made to designate 3,719 +/- square feet (0.085 +/- acre) to be added to the future width of CR 50 according to formal Resolutions and directives issued by the Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders for Monmouth County’s Road Plan for CR 50 prior to the County’s acquiring the property.
