Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 7:36-25.13, the NJDEP has been asked to review the following proposed lease of Green Acres encumbered parkland:

Park Owner:  Egg Harbor Township

Park Name/Location:  

220 Leap Street

Block 5925, Lot 1

Proposed Lessee:  Hearts Therapeutic Riding Center, Inc. (a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization)

Proposed Leased Premises:  5 acres, including horse riding premises and park buildings

Purpose of Lease:  Operation of a community-based equestrian center, including a trail system for therapeutic horseback riding and equine assisted activities.  See https://www.heartstrc.org/.

Proposed Lease Term:  10 years

Proposed Compensation:  $1 per year
