Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 7:36-25.13, the NJDEP has been asked to review the following proposed lease of Green Acres encumbered parkland:

Park Owner:  City of Margate

Park Name/Location:  

Public Beach between S Decatur Avenue and S Benson Avenue

Block 25, Lot 4

Proposed Lessee:  Yo-Leven, Inc., d/b/a Ventura’s Greenhouse Restaurant

Proposed Leased Premises:  Beach bar with pergola, fence, tables, bar, storage

Purpose of Lease:  Seasonal beach bar for the benefit of the beach going public

Proposed Lease Term:  3 years, for seasonal use between May 1st and October 31st of each year

Proposed Compensation:  $25,000 for the first year, with a 3% increase every year thereafter
