Proposed Action:  

The City of Hackensack is proposing to change the purpose or use of 4.3 acres of the 18.32-acre Johnson Park, located at 490 River Street (Block 404, Lot 1 and Block 500, Lot 98) in the City of Hackensack, Bergen County, from outdoor and open parkland to a sports and services facility to include multiple soccer fields, indoor walking track, wrestling practice area, exercise spaces, a new outdoor volleyball court and bleacher seating, and new parking lots.
