City of Elizabeth, Union County–Elizabeth Waterfront Park Recreation Pier–Lease for Ferry Service Pilot Program

Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 7:36-25.14, the NJDEP has been asked to review the following proposed lease of Green Acres encumbered parkland:

Elizabeth Waterfront Park Recreation Pier
101-117 Front Street
Block 825, Lot 6

Proposed User:  Elizabeth Fast Ferry, LLC

Facilities:  Recreation Pier

Proposed Use:  Use of the public pier for a pilot program to provide passenger ferry service to New York City.

Length of Use:  6 months (May 1, 2025 through October 31, 2025)

Proposed Compensation:  $16/landing
