REQUEST FOR PUBLIC COMMENT 

 

TAKE NOTICE that the Watershed Property Review Board (WPRB) has received the following request for exemption from the Watershed Protection and Moratorium Act, P.L. 1988, c. 163, as amended by P.L. 1990, c.19:

2024-0002: City of Salem, County of Salem – The City of Salem requests an exemption in order to sell New Jersey American Water Company, Inc. the City’s water and wastewater system assets, which include real property interests in the following locations: Township of Alloway, Township of Quinton and City of Salem. A 30-day public comment period on this request will begin on March 18, 2024.

Written comment on this request may be directed to WPRB@njdepwptest.net or NJDEP, Office of Transactions and Public Land Administration, P.O. Commenters should clearly reference which application is being commented on in either the subject line of any email or in the beginning of any letter submitted.

Public comment will be accepted until April 17, 2024.
