The Endangered and Nongame Species Program’s (ENSP) mission is to actively conserve New Jersey’s biological diversity by maintaining and enhancing endangered, threatened and nongame wildlife populations within healthy, functioning ecosystems. ENSP is funded almost entirely by donations from grants, the sale of Conserve Wildlife License Plates, and the state income tax Check-off for Wildlife. Without the interest and support of New Jersey’s citizens, the program would be unable to fulfill its mission.
