Fish and Wildlife conducts a variety of educational programs for beginning hunters, anglers, teachers and the general public. Take advantage of these opportunities to increase your knowledge, understanding and enjoyment of the outdoors and New Jersey’s rich fish and wildlife resources.

Fishing Education
Fishing has never been better! Learn about New Jersey’s aquatic environments and great fishing opportunities by attending a workshop or fishing education class. Programs are available for educators and the public to help you learn basic fishing skills and techniques.

Hunting Education
New Jersey offers outstanding hunting opportunities. Our award-winning Hunter Education course will provide what you need to know to be a safe, ethical, and successful hunter.

Wildlife Education
Hundreds of species of wildlife call New Jersey home. Learn about our native species and some of the conservation projects and management tools used to keep wildlife populations healthy and in balance with our human population.
