Happy National Seafood Month!

Since 2019, NJDEP Fish & Wildlife’s Marine Resources Administration has been working to enhance oyster habitat with the Shell Recycling Program. Throughout the year, discarded oyster and clam shells are collected weekly from restaurant partners in Atlantic City. The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Dock’s Oyster House, Knife & Fork Inn, Golden Nugget Casino, Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa, Resorts Casino & Hotel, Dougherty’s Steakhouse & Raw Bar, and the Tropicana Casino are helping our local oyster populations by providing the shell they need to grow and succeed!
