Hunters awarded turkey permits in the lottery have until 11:59 p.m. Wednesday to claim their permits or forfeit them.
Unclaimed and leftover permits go on sale Monday, March 27 at 10:00 a.m. on a first come-first served basis.
Hunters who do not act by the deadline may not be able to purchase permits for their preferred zone or period. Those awarded a permit in each lottery must claim both.
Youth hunters are always guaranteed a Y period permit as their first permit, regardless of applying in the lottery.
