DEP COMMISSIONER CAMPBELL SOLICITS INPUT FROM THE SOUTHWEST AND NORTHWEST DROUGHT REGIONS
(02/39) Trenton, NJ — Bradley M. Campbell, Commissioner, Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is hosting two more informational exchange workshops to gather input from the public and to provide an update on the statewide drought emergency.
"I want to reinforce that the drought emergency continues throughout New Jersey," said Commissioner Campbell. "The rainfall has brought some relief by raising our reservoir levels, but we need to focus on long-term water management strategies to ensure that sufficient water supplies are available in the future."
