NJDEP and its partners are committed to ensuring environmental infrastructure is rebuilt or upgraded to increase resiliency to future disruptions to service and to ensure the protection of human health and the environment. We are working hard coordinating with local, state and federal partners to assure all the resources needed to build stronger and better are provided to those who need them.
On May 29, 2013, the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP), with support from the NJ Office of Emergency Management (NJOEM) and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), held a training event at Monmouth University and via live webcast to promote resiliency in rebuilding after Superstorm Sandy.
