Our office structure

The Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) serves as the State Historic Preservation Officer.

The Assistant Commissioner for Community Investment & Economic Revitalization (CIER) serves as a Deputy State Historic Preservation Officer (DSHPO).
