NJDEP awards Design Coordination & Construction Management work

On October 10, 2023, NJDEP awarded the Design Coordination & Construction Management Mini-Bid to Agency Landscape + Planning with NV5. This work order includes a Phase 1B Design Plan, coordinated construction management, and a broader Greenway Design Plan. Work begins immediately and will be completed by December 31, 2023, June 30, 2024, and December 21 2025, depending on the Task.

NJDEP Issues Mini-Bid to consultants for Design Coordination & Construction Management work

On September 5, 2023, NJDEP issued a Mini-Bid work order to consultant firms to assist the State with the design coordination and construction management of Phase 1B of the Greenway. Work will begin October 9, 2023, with the Phase 1B of the Greenway to be open to the public by the end of 2025.

On May 19, 2023, NJDEP awarded four Mini-Bid work orders to consultant firms to assist the State with the planning, design, and development activities. Work will begin the week of May 22, 2023 and will be completed by August 18 or September 1, depending on the Task.

NJDEP Issues Request for Quotes from Firms to Facilitate Master Planning for Liberty State Park and The Greenway

The preservation of urban green space to promote healthy recreation, appreciation for natural resources and opportunities for equitable economic revitalization is a core priority for the Murphy Administration. To advance these goals, the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection has issued a Request for Quotes (RFQ) from firms to facilitate the creation of master planning and detailed design documents for Liberty State Park in Jersey City and the recently acquired 9-mile abandoned rail corridor as a Greenway.

Request for Quotes for master plan and design on Liberty State Park and The Greenway are due November 14, 2022 at 11:59 p.m.
