Technical Assistance Grants
PURPOSE OF FUNDING
Technical Assistance Grants (TAGs) provide funding to nonprofit community groups to employ independent Licensed Site Remediation Professionals (LSRPs) to perform activities designed to help improve the community’s understanding of the environmental conditions at, and remediation of, a contaminated site. The bulk of the TAG funds must be used to hire an independent LSRP as a technical advisor to help interpret and comment on site related documents.
