Purpose of Funding
Conduct ecological and technological research to better inform how offshore wind development may affect marine systems, as well as ways to avoid, minimize, or mitigate effects on marine resources.

Who is Eligible
Applicants must demonstrate prior research experience in the field of the proposal, and available capacity of research institution and partners to complete the proposed project.

Qualifications Required for Consideration
Letter of intent and proposal must be submitted by the deadline

Projects should be completed within three years of the agreed upon start date

Grant Limitations
Funding caps are specified for each research focus area on page 7 of the request for proposals.
