Join New Jersey Fish & Wildlife R3 Hunting & Shooting Program for a Youth Waterfowl Hunting Experience opportunity at the Tuckahoe Wildlife Management Area on Saturday, October 12, 2024. This waterfowl hunting experience is being offered through our Tuckahoe Managed Waterfowl Hunting Program.

Overview:

This hunting opportunity is open to Youth Waterfowl Hunters who are looking for an exciting waterfowl hunting experience on Youth Waterfowl Day in the South Zone. Youth hunters will get to experience a true “early season” waterfowl hunting opportunity in one of the six Tuckahoe impoundment blinds. Each blind will require a properly licensed adult mentor (21 years old or older) in the blind with the youth hunter(s). There are six blinds that hold up to four people. The selected youth hunter can bring two other youth hunters with them if they choose to do so. Each youth is required to bring their own hunting equipment. The R3 Hunting & Shooting Program will have duck decoys available to loan out for the day to each group if requested. It is HIGHLY recommended that each hunter and mentor wear chest waders.

When/Where:

Saturday, October 12, 2024, from 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Tuckahoe WMA. (Please use this address link for the directions.) 2201 Tuckahoe Rd., Woodbine, NJ.

Requirements:

The selected youths must possess a valid Youth Firearms Hunting License, HIP Certification and their own hunting equipment.

Registration

Registration is required and will close on October 9, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. Youths will be notified by October 10, 2024, at 5:00 p.m.
