NJ Fish & Wildlife will host a free seminar on wild turkeys at the Pequest Trout Hatchery and Natural Resource Education Center on April 1 at 1:00 p.m. The program will be conducted by current NJ Fish & Wildlife Turkey Project Leader. Topics covered will included the agency’s Wild Turkey Restoration Project, the life history of the state’s largest game bird, and upcoming research efforts to ensure continued stable populations.

The clinic is open to all individuals, and will demonstrate the use of box, slate, and air operated turkey calls.
