EJ Overburdened Communities Webinar – For Mayors and Municipal Government Staff

NJDEP will walk through the method used to identify overburdened communities (OBCs) and whether any part of a municipality has been designated an OBC pursuant to NJ’s EJ Law and answer questions from its local government partners.

The Overburdened Communities (OBC) Webinar is for mayors, municipal government staff, and elected officials to explain OBC data. The FAQ and technical notes on the OBC website provide additional information on OBCs, which will be updated as necessary. This is separate from the stakeholder meetings for the EJ Law rulemaking process that DEP will continue to host. Recordings and presentations from those meetings will be posted on the EJ Law webpage.
