New funding for EV charging stations near multi-family dwellings
DEP is thrilled to have been awarded a $10 million Charging and Fueling Infrastructure Discretionary Grant to fund EV charging stations for residents of multi-family housing in low and moderate-income neighborhoods, underserved communities, and rural areas. The project will fill gaps in EV charging infrastructure, and target areas near transit stations to encourage the use of shared transportation services such as electric carshare and rideshare options. Our team will be working closely with the Federal Highway Administration to distribute these funds and improve access to EV charging throughout the State.
A request for projects is expected for Spring of 2025. Please check back for program updates or sign up for our email list.
