The DEP’s Division of Water Monitoring Standards and Pesticide Control has scheduled a June 22nd Surface Water Quality Standards stakeholder meeting to discuss potential revisions and additions to human health criteria for 94 toxic substances primarily based on recommendations published by the USEPA in 2015 and new human health criteria for contaminants of emerging concern: 14-dioxane and three per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances which are commonly known as PFAS: perfluorononanoic acid (PFNA) perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) and perfluorooctanesulfonic acid (PFOS).
