N.J.A.C. 7:10 Safe Drinking Water Act Rules and N.J.A.C. 7:19 Water Supply Allocation Permits Rules (WQAA and Asset Management)

Take notice that the NJ Department of Environmental Protection is proposing amendments, repeals, and new rules at the Safe Drinking Water Act Rules and Water Supply Allocation Permits. This rule proposal is intended to incorporate pertinent requirements related to asset management for certain public water systems and enhance State oversight of public water systems as established by the Water Quality Accountability Act (N.J.S.A. 58:31-1 et seq). This proposal also includes requirements for water loss audits, and updates to finished water storage requirements for public water systems.
The proposal is scheduled to be published in the New Jersey Register dated August 19, 2024.
