Salt Marsh Framed Resin Art Workshop at Sedge Island
August 10, 2024 @ 12:00 pm - August 11, 2024 @ 12:00 pm
Nature has inspired our creativity for centuries! Now you can join NJ Fish & Wildlife staff to explore the salt marsh environment by kayaking and clamming while learning about conservation and the importance of the marsh. While exploring we will be using the marsh to inspire the framed resin art you will create, collecting items to incorporate into your final salt marsh inspired work of art. Local crafter, Laura Bengino, will lead you through creating your framed piece.
This workshop is open to anyone 18 years and older, interested in learning about the importance of New Jersey’s salt marshes through kayaking, clamming, fishing, and art! Participants should be prepared to be outside most of the day.
Cost: $200.00
To Apply: The workshop is limited to 10 participants. Only applicants who are selected to participate in this program will be notified through email on July 8, 2024. To apply please complete this Application. ** Deadline to apply is July 6, 2024.
**Please note there is one application for all Artist Off the Grid workshops. Please only select the workshops you’re interested in attending.
